TQUK LEVEL 5 DIPLOMA IN LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT FOR RESIDENTIAL CHILDCARE (RQF) is regulated by Ofqual

Qualification Purpose:

The purpose of this qualification is for learners to gain the knowledge and skills required to lead and /or manage others within a residential childcare setting.

Entry Requirements:

There are no specific entry requirements however learners should have a minimum of level two in literacy and numeracy or equivalent

The qualification is suitable for learners of 19 years of age and above.

Progression:

Successful learners can progress to other educational routes and /or job rules such as

  • children’s young people family’s manger apprenticeship
  • Residential childcare assistant manager /Manager
  • assistant manager in within adult or children and young people’s social care settings

Structure:

Learners must achieve 64 credits from the mandatory units and a minimum of 26 credits from the optional units.
